Project:

Brand Showstopper

Leela’s illustration business had grown quicker than she expected, and she soon outgrew her DIY brand. Although she was happy with her brand, her business evolved and her audience expanded, so she began to feel that her branding no longer reflected the quality of her work or where she wanted to take the business. It was starting to feel a little messy and confusing, so she reached out for help to elevate it.

She wasn’t completely sure how she wanted the brand to look, so I presented two distinct visual directions we could take. She loved both but one really stood out to her. Seeing that direction helped her better envision how her brand could evolve, and she requested a few tweaks before I moved on to designing the logo concepts.

She responded really positively to the logo concepts I presented and chose the one that felt most aligned with her vision. After a few refinements we landed on a final logo she was truly happy with. From there I developed the wider brand identity, exploring fonts, typography, colour palettes and patterns until everything felt cohesive and polished.

Leela was absolutely delighted with the final result. She mentioned that she would never have thought of some of the elements I introduced but they worked perfectly for her brand.
