Social media management
Kieran got in touch with me and wanted me to create a brand identity for his new social media management business, The Social Media Club. He wanted the brand to be fun, colourful, bold but also minimal.
I created two directions for the project. One with sans serif typefaces and neon pops of colour and the second mood board incorporated hand drawn logos, lots of black and white with playful pops of bright colours. He chose the second mood board and opted to go for a hand drawn logo.
I found a nice bold sans serif font and typed out ‘The Social Media Club’ in capitals. I then traced the font using my iPad and Apple Pencil, then vectorised and tweaked it until I was happy. I wanted the logo to look minimal and bold, but slightly imperfect to give it a playful edge.
Once he was happy with the logo, I then rolled out the style to the other logos and submarks. I then tried a few colour palette options, and then we decided on the final one.
